Atama, lambonina, abaku, ballerina clap made the day of AY NIGERIA GOES TO SCHOOL’S team yesterday. You may ask me why? The two schools visited, Bravford Group of Schools, Adebayo, and Linkers Model College, Omisanjana, Ado Ekiti ended up refreshing the team’s juvenile experience by amazing the group after some sessions of counseling on gender equity and rape free society. The AY NIGERIA GOES TO SCHOOL team resumed visitation after a long election break, and the outcome of the visitation was a huge success. The initiator, Ayodele Akande, alongside other facilitators engaged the students in a productive session of counseling which brought about different questions from the students. The questions which revealed the students’ daily experiences on gender combat, rape struggle and other social violence were keenly attended to, and this brought a great relief to them. In recent times, one cannot shy away from facing the reality. This generation of jet age has put so many parents on their toes, and some of the things that ought to be done by the parents is what the AY NIGERIA GOES TO SCHOOL AGTS is all about. Reduction of rape, getting justice for victims, as well as creating an enabling environment for all gender to thrive. Bravford Group of Schools, and Linkers Model College School, Ado- Ekiti have joined five (5) schools that have benefited from this initiative in recent times, and kudos to the principals and proprietors of the two schools for their reception towards the team #AYNigeriaGoestoSchool (AGTS).
